Donald Joseph Qualls - better popularly known as DJ Qualls - is a model, actor, and producer from the US. After gaining fame through his roles on Road Trip he has since been featured in more than 20 feature films, including The New Guy Hustle & Flow as well as The Core. He has also appeared in more than 22 television series like Breaking Bad Supernatural Scrubs Lost Law & Order as well as other. Qualls was diagnosed with Hodgkin's Lymphoma around age 14 and has been fighting it ever since. The cancer returned to remission 2 years after the diagnosis. The treatment began so early that it caused a serious influence on the body and stunted his growth. As he was raised in poor circumstances, he was determined to be financially secure. I've lived so frugally for so long I have to have that financial security or the world feels uncontrollable for me he said in an interview. He also reflects on his own childhood and wants to address the problem of the bullying. He says that cruelty breaks his heart. The perfect DJ role is that of a father in real life. But he admits Directors don't choose me for those roles. One day he'd like to become a father and be able to devote less time to his career and more to his child.
